Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is an American actress, singer as well as a writer and director. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. Benson has a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson has appeared in numerous movies and TV shows after Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. She also used her skills as a writer on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and produced Drones in 2010. After spending the time to discover and count them, Buffy states that there around 1800 Slayers all over the world with 500 working in Scooby Gang. Scooby Gang. Slayers are now Slayers after they have reached maturity. Soledad's Slayer ability was made public when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell is set to play Rowena during Season 10 of Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious old-fashioned witch.
