Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model and actress mostly active on the Indian film industry. She was also the runner-up of the 2005 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Fernandez has Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial origin was born in Canada, and spent the majority of her childhood in Bahrain. Her education is in mass communications at the University of Sydney. She was employed for a number of years as a TV reporter within Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. In 2006 she was crowned as Miss Universe and became one the most popular models in Sri Lanka. In 2009, as part of the course of her professional journey to India, she landed the role as Jasmine in the Sujoy Ghosh film 'Aladin'. In 2011 she was scouted for the character of Priya as the lead female in "Murder 2". The film was a critical and commercial success, which led to a flourishing career for Fernandez. In the following years, she's played in movies such as Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" as well as Judwaa 2. She's the brand ambassador of several companies and has received numerous accolades. An active part of the local community, she supports several charitable organizations and a number of causes.
